  1. Mōrena Zoe, I hope you are having a groovy day!

My name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.

Ka pai on creating such a beautiful Lorde poster! The background you’ve used is very eye-catching and I like how you’ve used white writing - this makes it easy for the viewer of the blog to read, as the background is dark so there is a good contrast. Your facts are interesting too - I didn't know Lorde’s favourite colour is green, so thanks for teaching me that! Were there any other facts you learned about Lorde, that you didn’t use on your blog?

Next time you make a cool poster like this one, remember that if you make a heading like “my favourite songs of hers”, make sure you write something underneath the heading, otherwise it looks a little unfinished.

I actually went to the same school as Lorde and we lived on the same street for a little while, she is one year younger than me. She is a really nice person and I remember her always being very talented at school. Do you have a favourite Lorde song?

I hope that you will keep blogging with us over the summer. Keep working on the teaser week activities and on the 16th of December you can start the Week 1 activities.

Thank you for making a brilliant poster and keep up the great mahi!
    Eliza :)
